 Purton Hulks

The narrow bank between the canal and the River Severn near Purton has long been used as a graveyard for old barges, with the aim of protecting the bank from erosion.

I photgraphed them in infrared mono to contrast the textures in the weathered wood or concrete with the white foliage.

Camera used was a Nikon Coolpix 5400, converted to IR by Infraready
